Shervin Pishevar also took issue with government measures such as failure to enact the Startup Visa Act which was intended to attract immigrant talent into the United States. Immigrant talent has for a long time played a significant role in the development of the country, but the government seems to turn a blind eye on this fact. During the Obama administration, Pishevar worked with the President in creating this bill although the Congress declined it.
